MGK SENSOR Co., Ltd. has commercialized and begun marketing two electrochemical hydrogen sensors, H2-MD-05 and H2-MD-25: the H2-MD-05 is excellent for detecting hydrogen in the high concentration range of 0 % to 4 %, while the H2-MD-25 is highly sensitive for hydrogen in the low concentration range of 0 ppm to 1000 ppm. Electrochemical hydrogen sensors are less susceptible to interfering gases than other gas detection methods, and the sensors do not consume electricity, making them ideal for battery operation.
